The JOYO R-17 Dark Flame is a high gain distortion pedal with three selectable distortion sounds. It is designed for optimal and quiet operation when powered by a 9V DC mains power supply with noise reduction technology. It features a 3‑band precision equalizer (LOW, MID, HIGH) for adjusted bass, mid, and treble frequencies. The pedal offers three distortion tones accessible via a selector switch. The classic R Series design includes a compact form factor with LED mood lights. Dimensions are 11 x 6.5 x 4.8 cm and the weight is 248 g. It is compatible with guitar and bass and supports distortion, overdrive, fuzz, chorus, and other effects. True bypass circuitry ensures the effect is out of the signal path when disengaged, preserving signal integrity.
